Perhaps they’re the best trainer around for weight loss but if your goal is building muscle mass they’re not the right trainer for you. Whilst most personal trainers are qualified to achieve a variety of fitness goals many have a specialty so be upfront about what you’re trying to accomplish.
Ok sure at this point you know whether they’re qualified or not but that’s not enough. While they may have endless certifications if they have little or no clientele there could be a reason for it. That being said every PT has to start somewhere so if they’re just starting out with only a handful of clients versus someone who’s been training for years and still only has a handful of clients its worth taking note.
So you’re keeping up your end of the bargain attending all your sessions and giving it your all, you need to make sure they stick to theirs. What you don’t want is a PT who’s never on time or who’s always cancelling sessions. Additionally, if you’re looking for training on a daily basis and their schedules completely jam packed your not going to be able to get the training you need.
